5 Ways to Keep Going Forward

NOTHING lasts forever – this can be difficult to remember when life gets extra challenging


1. Set SMART goals.

Know what you want and plan a course of action with timed milestones. At times you may need to take a step backwards or sideways to continue to move forward  – perseverance is key

2. Don’t fear failure.

Without failure, we would not know the way to success. Learn from your failures, make adjustments to improve your plans to achieve your goals

3. Take risks.

“Nothing ventured, nothing gained” – it is necessary to get out of your comfort zone and try something new in order to get new results – the worst thing that can happen is you learn a lesson (fail) or you succeed

4. Don’t settle.

Don’t be discouraged. Keep moving forward. Evaluate your plans, make necessary adjustments based on feedback and results, but don’t change your goals. Sometimes getting past a barrier to your success means going around it, under, or through it, not necessarily over it

5. Seek support.

Some days seem more challenging than others, having a support network can help you navigate the pitfalls and help you to keep moving forward
